Just wanted to post a quick update on the review I did for the Runnymede ROM for HTC Desire. I had a lot of performance issues with version 5.0, however I am happy to report that I have upgraded to 5.2 after performing a full wipe (that is, clear Storage/Cache/Dalvik and manually formatting /system), and no longer have any issues. The HTC Sense 3.5 UI and widgets can be a tiny-bit stuttery in some places, but definitely not enough to be a nuisance.
I’ve now been using it for over a week with absolutely no problems. So, Runnymede 5.2 comes with a very positive recommendation from myself. If you have a HTC Desire, install it now!
